Qiaoling Ma is a research associate at the Academic-Industry Research Network and University of Massachusetts Center for Industrial Competitiveness (CIC). Her major interests are innovation, strategy, and economic development. From 2011 to 2013, Qiaoling Ma worked as a research assistant in the Regional Economics and Social Development program at University of Massachusetts Lowell. While there, she worked for professor William Lazonick on the project Financial Institutions for Innovation and Development, funded by the Ford Foundation. She holds a master’s degree in Regional Economics and Social Development.
