In April 2024, SOAS University of London and AIRnet hosted a conference funded by The British Academy, bringing together scholars and specialists from around the world to address the urgent public health issue of vaccine inequity. This issue disproportionately affected national response efforts in the Global South during the COVID-19 pandemic. By reflecting on the lessons learned from the pandemic, participants discussed a roadmap for “Resolving Global Vaccine Inequity” through a more equitable and inclusive system of vaccine innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and global governance.
