Kai Pless is a research associate at the Institute for the History and Future of Work (Institut für dieGeschichte und Zukunft der Arbeit – IGZA) and guest researcher at WZB Berlin Social Science Center. He studies the automation and digitalization of work in the automobile, textile, and information and communication technologies (ICT) sectors.
Kai holds a M.Sc. in Sociology (Contemporary Social Thought) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and B.A. in Corporate Management and Economics from Zeppelin University. He has previously worked in corporate strategy, HR consulting and social entrepreneurship in Germany and the USA.
