Hélène Lesterlin focuses on regenerative finance, community-building, and helping Just Transition-aligned entrepreneurs and activists find pathways to resources for their work. She currently serves as co-Executive Director at the Good Work Institute, launching Kingston Common Futures, a community-designed democratically-managed fund. She is a start-up coach and board member at Start.coop, an accelerator for scalable cooperatives; serves as board member at Co-op HV, a Seed Commons fund; co-founded CO, a coworking co-op; and helped launch a social impact startup accelerator and incubator with a specialty in equity crowdfunding, and a VC fund, at Idealab NY. To this work, she brings creativity and grit from a 15-year career as a curator, producer, and interdisciplinary artist in international contemporary art and performance. She holds a BA from Yale College and a MFA from Bennington College.
