Emre Gömeç is a Ph.D. candidate in the Political Sciences department at the University of Kassel and a Ph.D. fellow of Hans Böckler Foundation in Germany. He is also a guest researcher in WZB Berlin Social Science Center in the research group “Globalization, Work, and Production”. His research fields are financialization, codetermination, and innovation as well as the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector. He compares the corporate governance models of two Nordic telecommunication companies, Nokia and Ericsson, as a case study in his dissertation.
After obtaining his B.S degree, he worked as a consultant for a regional project developing consultancy firm for a year. Most recently, he obtained his M.A. in International Economics at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
